Anne Celeste Heche is an American actor who was known for her wide variety of roles in film, television, and theatre. She was awarded numerous awards such as Daytime Emmy Award. Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor. Her death occurred on August 11, 2022. Her debut role was that of twins Vicky Hudson & Marley Love in the soap show Another World from 1987-1991. She won a Daytime Emmy Award & two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Later in the 90s, she gained more attention with her part in the movie Donnie Brasco, a crime drama. Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 6, 1953. She is an American Actress. She is most well-known for her portrayal of Lieutenant Sheba in the television series Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). The actress is the daughter and granddaughter of actors Gene Lockhart. Lockhart started her acting career very early. At the age of four, her first role as an actor was as a character in T is for Tumbleweed. This film of a short length about theme was nominated to win an academy award. Her mother took her to the film studio, where she was taught about the workings of the film industry. Lockhart appeared in many episodes of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first feature film. She was 18 year old and portrayed the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. Joan was in the episode in her final appearance. Rumor has it that Anne refused to play Laurie Strode, the character in John Carpenter's horror film, Halloween. The role was eventually cast with Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter states that the actress rejected his proposal to portray Laurie Strode. Anne cannot recall John Carpenter having contacted her nor offering the role. It's possible that one of her agents rejected it on her account without telling her. Glen Larson initially selected her to play Battlestar Galactica in 1978. He wrote a rough script. She initially rejected the part due to the fact that she thought her character was weak. Glen came up with a completely new character for herself, featuring Sheba as a stronger character. The Living Legend was accepted after she read the first 25-page script. It ran for a single season. The show was cancelled after one season. Joyride (1977) the film that she co-starred in and acted in with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
